Welcome to the Bunkhouse.

This home is located located just 4 blocks from down town Monroe. We are located approximately 15 minutes from Sterling State Park, Enrico Fermi  II Power Plant and Detroit Edison Coal Power Plant. Located just a short 45 Minute drive to Detroit, 20 Minutes from Toledo OH and about a 40 Minute drive to Ann Arbor.  This is a very quiet and walkable neighborhood close to everything from Groceries  to public parks a Library  and in the summer frequent free concerts and events in the ST Mary's Park right in Downtown Monroe. 

This location has high speed WiFI, digital code door locks, central air and heat and security cameras on the outside of the home, along with the following features. 

This home has 4 bedrooms with a total of 10 beds to sleep a total of 10 guests. The beds are extra deep (18") Twin XL, and we can upon request provide a total of 4 Kings size beds and 2 Twin XL instead.

This home has 2 living rooms with Smart TV's. The First Floor Livingroom has a gas lit fireplace, couch, and two recliners as well as a small desk with a chair for any work from home, or just time on the web on your laptop. The Downstairs living room has a couch and a love seat as well as an unstocked Bar with 6 stools.

We also have 2 full kitchens are fully stocked:
Pots, Pans, Mixing Bowls, Cutting Boards, Cooking Knifes, Plates, Bowls, Coffee Mugs, Drinking Glasses, Flatware Set, Wash Clothes, Kitchen Towels, Paper Towels, Napkins, Basic Seasonings, Coffee Filters, Coffee and Common Cooking Utensils. Both

Kitchens also include the following appliances: Coffee Pot, Refrigerator and Freezer, Dishwasher, Toaster, Gas Stove in the first floor and Electric Range in the basement.

The First Floor Bathroom has a tub and a shower. We stock Basic Cleaning Supplies, Hand Towels, Wash Cloths, Toilet Paper, Hand Soap, Body Wash, Shampoo, and a small jar with some Cotton Balls and Q-Tips. The Downstairs bathroom has a walk in stand up shower.

Aside from these room specific amenities we also offer the little things to make your stay more convenient such as 2 Washers and 2 Driers for laundry, Ironing Bord and an Iron, along with some tennis rackets in the front hall closet.

Don't get caught in the dark! This home has a whole house standby natural gas powered Standby Generator. If the power goes out, you can continue with your activities as if nothing happened and stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.  

This is a NO SMOKING PROPERTIES INDOORS! However we have put together a nice seating area with a table in the enclosed back porch with an Ashtray on the table so if you do smoke please smoke out here, or there is a lovely concrete patio with comfortable lawn furniture just to the side of the back porch. There is a fine for any guests that smoke inside the property.  

Back Yard also includes a Propane Grill. The utensils are hanging next to the door on the inside of the back porch.
